Science on Tap: Paleontology Progress

Room 2 Bosse Ave, Manchester

Occasionally we (IEEE NH Life Members Affiliate Group) identify an event that maybe of interest to our life members -- and possibly other groups within IEEE. This is one such event, sponsored by the SEE Science Center (Manchester), which is free, but registration is required. The format for Science on Tap is as follows --- get there early -- recent events have filled up, and you may want to order your dinner/drinks well before 6PM as things get busy. I target arriving close to 5:30 or before. (dinner/drinks at your own expense) at 6pm speakers are introduced and given a few minutes to describe their area of work Then we have Q&A for the remaining time This month is Progress in Paleontology There has been an explosion of discoveries from the age of dinosaurs in the last decade. Learn how new technologies including drones, AI, 3-D printing and molecular analysis are accelerating advances in the field. Discuss the types of questions we are now able to answer and how understanding the earth’s past can help us prepare for the future.
