Oracle Spatial and Graph offers a broad range of spatial datatype support, spatial analysis, graph analysis, and associated web services – native to Oracle Database. • It stores and manages data like cities, customer addresses, warehouse location (or points), roads or rivers (lines), and sales territories, zip code boundaries, or states (polygons). And the geometric representations are stored right along with the business data in an Oracle table. • Additionally, Oracle Spatial and Graph supports more advanced data types and analysis. These include geocoding and routing engines, satellite imagery and gridded rasters, laser-scanned or Lidar point cloud data are also supported. A topology model (for land management applications), Network graphs model road or other transportation networks, and utilities, and RDF graphs support linked data/social applications. Speaker(s): DR. BARIS M. KAZAR, Agenda: 1. Pizza and Refreshments 2. Talk 3. Q/A Location: Bldg: University of New Hampshire Manchester Campus 88 Commercial Street MANCHESTER, New Hampshire |
