Analysis of Modern Radar and Electronic Warfare Signals Utilizing Advanced RF Measurement Techniques
Analysis of Modern Radar and Electronic Warfare Signals Utilizing Advanced RF Measurement Techniques
Co-sponsored by: IEEE MTT-S NH Chapter / IEEE ComSig NH Chapter / Association of Old Crows Granite State Roost Abstract: Modern Radar and Electronic Warfare Systems rely on sophisticated signal processing and complex RF modulation on pulse. Without proper signal design verification, these techniques may not be effective during critical engagements which could be catastrophic. Determining a Radar’s ability to successfully detect/track targets or an EW systems ability to identify threats and avoid detection/tracking can be challenging. This paper discusses advanced RF signal analysis and RF pulsed signal capture techniques (variable segment length, gapless capture, de-interleaving, duplex IF real time analysis, etc.) that allow designers to both measure signal parameters and confirm the proper operation of their Radar or Electronic Warfare systems. These features result in more efficient T&E methods and greater confidence in system performance and capabilities. Speaker(s): Phil Gresock, Agenda: 6:00 to 6:30 Social 6:30 to 8:00 Pesentation Location: Nashua Country Club 25 Fairway Street Nashua, New Hampshire 03060 |
