Southern New Hampshire University Professional Development

Thanks to the support from IEEE Region 1 PACE and from SNHU Career Center SNHU School of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics (SETA) held an event focused on educating students and local professionals about job opportunities in the area.  This event is becoming a tradition. IEEE Student Branch and Women in Engineering – Young Professionals joint affinity group are the bridge between SNHU and IEEE organizations.

This year Safran was the invited speaker and educator.  A young engineer from Safran and a human resources representative gave presentations. They educated audience about Safran capabilities and worldwide opportunities for employment. They walked students and professional through the applications process.  There were many questions from the audience. Q&A session went on for a very long time.

Event ended with a trivia game and raffle for IEEE and SNHU branded prizes.  Everybody had a great time, while learning about actual job and internship posted positions.

Large group of attendees and a table full of swag for the raffle.
